The Mango July 2013 lookbook is filled with grunge inspired pieces perfect for making a statement now and in the season to come. Dutch model Cato Van Ee highlights the label's top picks for the month. Rock chic ensembles might not be the most intuitive choice when you're doing your best to survive summer's heat wave, but if you love all things edgy, it's definitely worth taking inspiration from the newest Mango lookbook especially since these ideas will also serve you well for the transitional days to come.
Whether you're looking for simple ideas for a modern grungy look or would like to add a few edgy vibes to otherwise feminine outfits, the new Mango July 2013 lookbook can be a great source of insight.
The label brings some versatile essentials for a cool modern flair: biker jackets, plaid shirts or cool leather skirts. All these are a safe choice if you're looking for trendy pieces that can help you stand out without too much effort. The easiest way to add an instant grungy vibe to your look? Distressed denim pieces. Whether you choose shorts, fab ripped long jeans or skirts, the edgy allure will be instantly noticeable.
Contrary to what some might believe, feminine accents and grungy vibes are not mutually exclusive and the newest Mango July lookbook has the looks to prove it.
Fab ruffle dresses, floral prints or lace tops can be great picks for fashionistas who aren't willing to forgo feminine accents completely in favor a tough allure. Of course, accessorizing plays a huge role in the overall vibe of an outfit, especially when the pieces are on the relatively subdued side.
In terms of statement accessories, the brand's July 2013 lookbook brings combat boots into the spotlight. Without a doubt, these babies can add a spectacular edgy vibe instantly and should definitely be considered if you're serious about rocking the trend in the upcoming month. Other suitable amazing summer accessory choices for an instant edgy flair are studded belts and bracelets or fab chain necklaces.

Just Cavalli Fall 2013 Winter 2014 Campaign
Just Cavalli's fall 2013 campaign puts a new spin on the concept of style revolution. Protests are no solo acts, so the label enlisted models Dominik Bauer, Rodolfo Zanforlini, Ben Hunter, Karlina Caune, Julia Frauche and Manon Leloup to illustrate the concept behind the new ads lensed by Giampaolo Sgura in Barcelona, Spain.
The city was chosen for the “vibrant energy” that constantly attracts “cool young individuals who want to live their life in a passionate, intense and unexpected way.” A video titled “We Just Love” directed by Sgura makes the concept behind the new campaign even clearer where slogans such as “We will not drive the cars which you have built for us, and we will not drive through the streets which you have paved for us,” further highlight the theme.
The best thing about Cavalli campaigns, regardless of the season, is that there's never a single dull moment in them. The label's constant preoccupation with showing its creations in unexpected new ways and the constant focus on bringing bold patterns and sexy combos never fails to make fashionistas weak in the knees. It only takes one glimpse to see that the dynamic fall 2013 Just Cavalli campaign doesn't stray from the norm.
Moderation was never a characteristic of Just Cavalli designs. With protest as a defining theme, balanced looks would have been incredibly counter-intuitive. So, the multitude of vibrant hues, intricate prints and attention grabbing accessories presented in the Just Cavalli fall 2013 ads make perfect sense. Aside from the luxury label's signature bold animal prints, the new Just Cavalli fall 2013 line brings eclectic patterns and motifs inspired by the Orient which bring the newest line to new style heights.
In addition to flirty dresses, spectacular jumpsuits, interesting sweaters or stylish coats combined cleverly for maximum impact, the Just Cavalli fall 2013 campaign brings some fab accessories into the spotlight: colorful scarfs, luxurious jewelry, classic watches or modern eyewear pieces. This is the label's persuasive way of showing that fall 2013 lines are filled with amazing pieces.

Levi's to Launch Revel Line
Levi's new Revel line promises to bring you one step closer to the body you've always wanted. The denim label is always coming up with innovative projects designed to meet its customers' most stringent needs and the new Revel line, which aims to help women feel sexy by highlighting their best assets is definitely one that promises to attract a lot of attention. The Revel line is based on “liquid-shaping technology” that aims to give the wearer the illusion of lean, well defined features.
Unlike Levi's Curved ID line, which focuses on showing off each woman's sexiest curves, the new offerings combine the Spanx technology with the idea of sexy jeans for a much coveted effect: “Levi’s Revel takes that curve innovation one step further by actively shaping a woman’s body, giving her the legs and butt she always wanted,”Jill Guenza, Levi’s vice president of women’s design explained. To deliver on its promise, the brand uses a patent pending “liquid-shaping technology” and relies on four fabrics: cotton, polyester, Lycra and DuPont’s Sorona fiber.
This allows the label to control stretch and support to provide the necessary definition. A perk of the new technology is that it replaces the visible reinforced panels typical to shapewear. The new Levi's body shaping jeans provide lift exactly where it is most needed rather than providing a uniform stretch. “The result is a jean that carves out the inner thigh, slims and smooths the outer thigh, lifts the seat and flattens the tummy,” Jill Guenza explained. Like it often happens, inspiration comes from other industries. In this case, it was makeup: We looked at [late makeup artist] Kevyn Aucoin’s books and how he made cheekbones look higher or noses look smaller. The seams we applied to our jeans act in concert to make the leg look longer and slimmer, the seat perkier and to move the eye away from the hips,” she told WWD.
